NCC as HBC

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) of Govt. Hrangbana College has been actively functioning from the year 1986 till today under 20th Mizoram Independent Company under the supervision of Commanding Officer(CO) Lieutenant Colonel (Lt. Col.) Clement Lalhmingthanga. 

As a cadet, NCC class are important part apart our academic syllabus,as drills are important activity to make discipline. It teaches the value of disciplinary life of honesty, truthfullness, self sacrifices, preservance and hard work. It gives an unitary spirit of respecting religion, language, culture, ethnicity,lifestyle and habitat to National unity. The ability to participate in community devlopment and other social programme. 

NCC classes are conducted ever Monday and Friday at 15:15 Hrs (03:15pm) at High School Field and Classroom. Classes are given on Drills,Speech,Weapon training,Map reading,Rank test,etc. which are conducted by the Seniors.A great achivements (see achivement on the page ACHIVEMENT )  have been made by the X cadets whom have achived a lot to make the HBC NCC a better platform for youth training organization today.

By God's grace, HBC NCC are being participating in the Independence Day parade from the past years. Every Cadet are given the opportunity to be a part of the contingent in such a prestigious events.

Trainings

Virous trainings are given to the cadets on conducted camps to nourish and sharp them on weapon target & firing ,Jungle survival,mountaineering and much more. All necessary training are given to devlop a leadership quality within them.

                                        Social service

As youth are the builder of the nation, NCC as being a youth organization, the spirit of  service toward the social life are also trained by organizing Social Service activities. Such as, Voluntery Blood Donation for the needy ones to save the life of the peoples, as well as Cleanline campaign  like Swatch Bharat is also being promoted by the Cadets of NCC maintain the health,lifestyle and living standards of the society as well as Community devlopment activities are organised. Career counselling and personality devlopdevelare also organized.

Company Sport

Sport unite people and teach NCC the spirit of sportmanship and not only thise it also maintain the health of the cadets. 20th Mizo Independent Company sports  are conducted every year. It gives the cadets a great opportunity to make the unity stronger.

Certificate Course

A number of Cadets are qualified to meet the eligiblity from the HBC and every year a great numbers of Cadets make out in "B" and "C" Certificate Courses.
